What problems does Delivery Assurance solve?
+

It helps leaders answer:

  • Are we getting value for money from delivery?
  • Why do similar teams perform differently?
  • Where are delivery risks building up unseen?
  • Where should we intervene — and where can teams operate independently?
Who do you work with?
+

We work with CIOs, VPs of Technology, PMO, Transformation and Portfolio leads who need an independent, evidence-based view of delivery health across their programmes. Typically these are leaders running complex technology change who have limited confidence in their current reporting, are facing delivery pressure, or want earlier visibility of risk before it becomes costly to address.

How does Delivery Assurance work in practice?
+

We gather data via assessments, analyse performance and risk patterns, and present an independent view of delivery health. We then outline clear, prioritised recommendations for leaders — with optional targeted support (e.g., coaching or facilitation) where evidence suggests it will improve outcomes. We can re-run assessments over time to track progress and emerging issues.

How long does an assessment take?
+

It depends on the level of assurance you need. A Lite assessment typically delivers findings within one to two weeks. A Standard engagement runs over three to four weeks. Custom engagements are scoped to your situation, but we design all our work to be fast — the goal is early insight, not a lengthy review process.

How is this different from a pulse survey?
+

Pulse surveys often measure sentiment across an entire organisation. Performance Radar provides independent delivery assurance tailored to delivery outcomes, variance, and risk — giving leaders context and prioritised insight, not just broad sentiment.

How is this different from using a large consultancy?
+

Large consultancies typically embed teams, run extended engagements, and often have a stake in the delivery work itself. We don't. Performance Radar is independent by design — we don't sell tools, run transformation programmes, or take on delivery ownership. Our only output is an honest, evidence-based view of delivery health. That independence is what makes the insight credible.

Do you align to a specific delivery methodology?
+

No — and that's intentional. We work across PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, waterfall, hybrid, and bespoke ways of working. Our assessments focus on delivery outcomes and risk, not methodology compliance. What matters to us is whether work is flowing, risks are visible, and teams are set up to deliver — not which framework is on the wall.

We have teams following different methods. Can you help us?
+

Absolutely. Delivery Assurance works independently of method — whether traditional, agile, hybrid, or bespoke ways of working. The goal is consistent insight into outcomes, not compliance to a process.

Can you assess a single team or work-stream rather than a whole programme?
+

Yes. Our Lite assessment is well suited to focused, targeted reviews of a single team, workstream, or initiative. Broader programme or portfolio coverage is available through our Standard and Custom engagements. We'll help you determine the right scope during the introduction call.

Can we run this alongside an existing programme review or audit?
+

Yes. Delivery assurance complements internal reviews and audits rather than replacing them. We provide independent, evidence-based insight that strengthens governance — many clients use it specifically to give their steering forums or boards greater confidence in what internal reporting is telling them.

Where do you work?
+

We work remotely, which means we can support organisations anywhere English is the business language. Most engagements are delivered entirely remotely with no requirement for on-site presence. For complex, ongoing Custom engagements, on-site work may be considered where it adds value.

Is it worth the cost if we only have one programme?
+

Yes — particularly if that programme is material to your organisation. The cost of a Lite or Standard assessment is typically a fraction of what a single month of delayed delivery costs. The value is in identifying risks early, when you still have time to act, rather than after issues have escalated.

Can we run a pilot before committing to a larger engagement?
+

Yes — our Lite assessment is specifically designed for this. It provides an independent view of delivery health for a single programme or initiative, typically completed within one to two weeks. Many clients use it as a starting point before deciding whether a broader Standard or Custom engagement makes sense.

How often do I need to run the Performance Radar?
+

You can use it as a one-off diagnostic; some leaders choose to run assessments regularly (e.g., quarterly) to track delivery health over time and detect emerging risks before they become costly.

How do we get started?
+

The first step is a 15-minute introduction call, which you can schedule directly from this site. We'll use that conversation to understand your situation and explain how we'd approach it. If there's a clear fit, we'll follow up with a straightforward proposal outlining scope, approach, and cost. There's no obligation at any stage until you're ready to proceed.

Do you sign NDAs?
+

Yes. We're happy to sign a mutual NDA before any detailed discussion of your programmes or organisation. Confidentiality is fundamental to how we work — our assessments involve sensitive delivery information and we treat it accordingly.

What do you need from us to get started?
+

Access to a small number of stakeholders, the ability to run a targeted delivery survey across relevant teams, and some basic delivery data where it exists. We don't require lengthy document preparation or dedicated resource from your side.

What data or access do you need from us?
+

Our requirements are kept deliberately light and vary by engagement level. For a Lite assessment, we typically need a targeted delivery survey completed by relevant team members, the last one or two status reports, and a project initiation document. For Standard and Custom engagements, we'll agree data requirements as part of scoping — these will be broader but always proportionate to the complexity of the programme. We don't require lengthy document preparation or dedicated resource from your side.

How disruptive is it for our teams?
+

Minimal. We're designed to create as little friction as possible for delivery teams. Most of the input we need comes from a targeted survey and a small number of short conversations with key stakeholders. Teams continue working normally throughout.

What happens if you find something serious?
+

We present findings clearly, constructively, and with full context — the goal is always to give leadership the information they need to make good decisions, not to create alarm. If an assessment surfaces a significant issue, we'll explain what it is, why it matters, and what we'd recommend doing about it. Findings are shared with you before any wider distribution, and we'll work with you on how best to present them to your stakeholders.
